Capital Investment Bonds

Since the completion of the Retail Distribution Review by our regulator the FCA, the availability of capital investment bonds to the execution only market place has changed dramatically. We used to be able to offer all companies with various levels of discounts / enhancements by giving up the lions share of the initial commission and taking no annual or fund based commission.

The situation now is that we can only offer top ups to existing execution only bonds with Aviva and Prudential for clients and we are unable to offer a new bond on execution only at the present time.

As top up bonds no longer pay any commission at all to us then we need to charge a fee which is an administration fee of £95.00 payable to. This is a one-off fee for the time taken to process your application and is therefore non-refundable once your application has been processed. This will, however, give you a commission free bond top up.

If you would like to top up an existing execution only bond with Aviva or Prudential, please email discounts@power-robbins.co.uk with the following information or phone our friendly staff on 0800 032 5433

1. Your name
2. Your bond number
3. Your top up amount
4. The fund you wish to invest in, or state `existing’ funds.
5. The amount of income you require on the top up or state `none’.

We will then send this request to the company concerned and send you the illustration, application, key features and any other requirements in the first class post as soon as it is available.
